Oh my goodness, what an experience! I can't believe Mark didn't blog about it already. Finally, I have a good story to tell. Well, last night Anna, Kate, Mark and I were vegging in front of the tv. I was working on MM deposits, Mark was working on his computer and the girls were lounging around. Anyway, all of a sudden there was this very loud scream!! At once, I noticed that it was coming from Anna, Kate and, lo and behold, myself! It was just announced that Sanjaya was going home!!! wooohooo!!!!! We were so excited! Apparently, none of us could contain our elation. I felt such a strange feeling of bliss over the elimination of an Idol contestant. He seems like a sweet kid, but it was time for him to go. I had no idea I was so wrapped up in the Idol stuff, but apparently I am, yikes! I am laughing at myself today and hoping that Sanjaya will not take it all too seriously, at least not as seriously as I apparently did!

I'm not an Idol fanatic, but came into the den to see the results last night. I cheered also when they made the announcement. It was about time! Now they can get down to the real telented people. I did hear the bald guy (?) and Jordon sing Tuesday and they both "blew it away" on their songs!
Jana was disappointed with Sanjaya leaving - I think she really liked him. I think he has good potential, just not as a singer - unless he gets some great training! :-)

Sanjaya getting booted off has been the best news this entire month. I haven't been able to watch American Idol this season for different reasons, one being it just wasn't good this year. But I still kinda keep up, and I've been thinking if he makes it what in the heck is this world coming to? He is a cross b/n Michael Jackson and Prince (don't get me wrong, I like Prince, just not in the same body as Michael Jackson).
I don't watch Idol, but I laughed out loud at your blog! :D Turns out ya'll are not alone. I think he knew his days were numbered so he can't feel too bad (or shouldn't anyway).
I am with you on that one. I am so relieved now that he's gone. What a joke he was. Who cares if he has great hair, perfect skin and beautiful teeth? He can't sing!!!!
Looking back one post: I was just catching up on yours, and thought that since the typical extremely padded biking shorts are sooooo indeed very flattering and eye-catching, perhaps you could wear them to a Saturday morning gathering to demonstrate your new style. Be brave!
There was an echoing scream in Ridgeland! Kinda felt sorry for him but SERIOUSLY did he think he was going to WIN? My favorites are Melinda and Jordin but I really like all of the 6 remaining singers. It gets tough to vote now! (Yes, I vote!) Hope to see you soon!
Yep, Kurt and I screamed and high fived each other when Sanjaya's name was announced. Nice guy, but too strange, and he's too much of an amateur.
