It's quiet out there.....

Kind of scary to be so quiet in the blog world - not the usual activity. I hope it's not because you are getting nervous! You can do this, I promise! Yep, it's TWENTY MILES, yep, IT'S a long way - further than last time, but it's only TWO measely miles further than the last really long run. You can go just two more!
Please keep in mind the time and don't go over 5 hours and if you need me, call! I will be in the truck tomorrow, checking on y'all and the water. I have filled all of the coolers we have, so there will be plenty. Enjoy the walk/run (ha! yeah, I know) tomorrow and don't rush, just get the time on your feet. If you don't have someone to go with, find someone, if you have to go a bit slower, do! You'll be glad of the company! Check on each other while you are out there, especially if someone is alone.
OK, yes, I'm being a mom, sorry - I just know that y'all can do this, you are ready!
Now, go eat well and hydrate AND get to bed at a decent time!!!
Blog on!

Thanks for the advice. I hope that everyone realizes if they do the time and not all of the miles that they will still be able to complete this marathon. I know first hand in cooler weather that your speed and endurance is so much better. I will be on bike patrol tomorrow after I put in a shorter run. Suzanne

Hey Robin,
Thank you! Yes, the knee is doing well with the brace. It is really stiff after the 20 miles on Saturday. I am just pumped I could do it!! :o) I can't telly you the feeling of accomplishment after all the knee pain being able to run the distance. I just wish I could or should I say make the time to do it more during the week! :o/ I have been terrible about making excused since I started back to teaching. :o)
About Jayce, he is amazing. He has a great head on his shoulders. :o) I love the vision he has, and I know he has what it takes to get us there. That is something I haven't had in the past. I am glad I don't have to lead anymore! :o) Thank you SOOOO much for all you do!! You are so wonderful!! Have a great week. Steph
