Playing catch-up

Well, it took me a while, but I am now all caught up on the blogs. I fell behind because Mark and I took Caroline to Birmingham on Monday. Our older girls are on a trip with their grandparents, so we thought we would treat the little one. She was so funny....in case you don't know, let me tell you what she's like. Do you remember the McDonald's commercial with the mom and the little girl ( 5 or 6 years old), in the van and the little girl is talking NON-STOP? The mom pulls in the drive-thru, gets a happy meal and hands it to the little girl. The little girl is finally quiet and the mom smiles. OK, that's my Caroline. Non-stop, all day, but at least she's a happy child.
Anyway, we get to the hotel room and she is completely amazed. She plops down on the bed covered with a fluffy white down comforter and says, "Mama! this is the life! I feel like I RULE the world!" Oh my goodness, where does she come up with this stuff? We took her to eat at The Cheesecake Factory, went swimming in the indoor pool way past her bedtime and then returned to the room and ate our cheesecake (the 3 of us shared 1 piece) in the middle of the bed. How great is that?
Tuesday we went to the Zoo and had a good time - she ran us all over that place!
My big girls get home tomorrow - it has been quieter without them. (Notice I said quieter, not quiet.) I have missed them, but sometimes it's nice to have a chance to miss someone, you know?
Well, that's enough blabbing for now...I will sign off for now - blog on!

Caroline is quite a little spitfire. She was fun and cute at the mtg last week, especially in the group name circle game. With all the energy and that personality, she will be famous one day. You definitely have your hands full, in a good, fun way!

Sounds awesome. We have been to the Birmingham zoo and enjoyed it a lot. we are taking Candace (who is also a talker btw) to the Jackson zoo on Sunday. She loves to stay in hotels too.
sidenote: I saw 3 sets of twins today, while out with mine. Are there more twins these days, or is just that I never noticed them until I got mine?
