Thanks Kelvin, I needed the reminder once again that my allergies/sinuses can and do make me so tired this time of year. Why do I always forget? I have them year round? Anyway, I had been popping some Claritin to see if that would help, but it did not have the "d". I stopped by Walgreens and got the other. I am planning to feel better real soon!
The feet are doing pretty well, depending on how much standing I do each day. I really want to get out on the levee with y'all Saturday. I just love it out there this time of year. Of course, it does my allergies no favors but I'll be medicated.
I know some of y'all are wanting some recipes and ideas for healthy eating and I plan to work on that some Thursday. Hopefully, I will be able to post something before the weekend. By the way, Kroger has strawberries on sale and they are GOOOOOOD!
I hope y'all enjoy the rest of the week and I'll see you Saturday!

Darn,I was at Krogers tonight. Got apples, nuts, and spinach, but no strawberries. This afternoon, I opted for a V8. It was actually pretty satisfying. I am trying to cut back on Diet Cokes.
Tracy
got some strawberries the other day, with some angel food cake and light cool whip, it was really very good

OOH strawberries! Must get some!
My husband has to have the "d" too. He's allergic to just about everything.
Hope your feet feel better soon!
Hi Robin,
About the allergy thing. I have found the best help is a steriod nasal spray, like Rhinocort AQ. It has totally changed my life. It does require a doctors prescription, but it works great. Another nasal spray (also prescription) for particularly bad times of year is Astelin. I have found these in conjunction w/Allegra D to do the trick.
Lisa is right about the Rhinocort and Astelin. They both work very well in conjunction with the other stuff. I also take a couple of 'hits' of normal saline (salt water) nose spray every morning. That helps as well.
Thanks for the words of encouragement on my blog. I think (hope) that the accountability to this fine group of people, with extra fine leaders such as you and Mark, will be the motivation I need to resist two weeks of very serious temptations!
D makes me very awake, so maybe that would be a good thing if one took it early enough in the day. Saw you running on Saturday, and looks like you are back on your feet, so to speak. Good for you!
